Sara's Family Restaurant - Your Go-To Spot for Wraps, Sandwiches, and Breakfast in Fort Wayne, IN

This place was super busy on a Saturday at lunch time and seating is kind of tight. The food was good and the portion was too much. Waitress was nice and eventhough they were really busy no wait to be seated and food came out quickly.

Very well priced restaurant! The portion sizes are massive and you certainly get what you pay for here. Great restaurant and will be back again in the future.

Sara’s Family Restaurant stands out right away with its striking, old-school Americana décor, cozy booths, brick accents, and a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that feels genuinely inviting. The food is straightforward and satisfying, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and comforting flavors done right. Service is friendly and unpretentious, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. A solid choice for a normal eat-out day, nothing fancy, but it delivers exactly what you want.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through town, but ended up ordering breakfast—and I’m so glad I did! The portions were huge, the pancakes were delicious, and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and the waitress even included flatware in our to-go box. This thoughtful gesture made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service—highly recommend!

Food was excellent, as was the service! Busy, busy place but got in and out without feeling rushed. Not my normal stomping ground, but came here on a recommendation. Was not disappointed. Would gladly eat here again

I ordered pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes as promised. They were busy when I went to pick up and I received prompt service. The food was delicious and definitely home made. I ordered breakfast and will be back to try lunch and dinner.

Fantastic Food, great service! The Chicken and Citrus Salad was fantastic, especially paired with the Raspberry Vinaigrette. Egg and Avocado Sandwich was cooked to perfection and the Kid's Breakfast was perfect for my little one. The atmosphere was fine and a bit cozy, I think I spotted every President on the wall somewhere and the service was amazing. Portions are fantastic for the price and the quality of the ingredients is definitely top-notch, all the fruit and veggies were fresh and the Bacon tasted amazing. I will definitely be returning often.

Even though portions of the food were very big, the pork tenderloin was delicious, and all the items were cooked perfectly! The staff were very friendly, especially when the server handled the service in a very polite manner! It made the entire experience much better. Excellent customer service and food makes Sara’s a highly recommended restaurant on the south side of Fort Wayne!
